Methodology
How we rate casinos
A transparent process, built on four pillars and applied the same way to every operator.
Updated on September 14, 2026
Every casino goes through a review of more than 20 steps, from sign-up to first withdrawal. We test under the same conditions so the score reflects the real player experience, not a surface impression.
The four pillars
1. Licensing & safety
This is the foundation. In Chile, online casinos are not yet regulated: the Superintendencia de Casinos de Juego (SCJ) oversees land-based casinos and, since 2024, sports betting, while Bill N°14.838 makes its way through Congress. That's why we check the operator's offshore licence, connection encryption, the data-protection policy and the brand's track record.
- Valid, verifiable licence (usually offshore, such as Curaçao or Malta).
- Secure connection (HTTPS) and data protection.
- Track record free of serious player disputes.
2. Bonuses & terms
A bonus is only good if the terms let you use it. We analyse rollover, deadlines, max bets and how clearly the rules are written.
- Realistic, clearly stated rollover.
- Reasonable deadlines and maximum bet.
- No hidden or abusive clauses.
3. Games & providers
We assess the catalogue's variety, the quality of partner studios and platform stability on desktop and mobile.
- Varied catalogue (slots, table, live).
- Recognised studios and games with published RTP.
- Good mobile performance.
4. Payouts & support
Winning is pointless if you can't cash out. We measure real payout speed (with a focus on Webpay and MACH) and the quality of Spanish-language support.
- Fast Webpay or MACH withdrawals with no surprises.
- Accessible, effective support.
- A fair verification (KYC) process.
How the final score is calculated
Each pillar gets a score; the final grade combines all four, with more weight on safety and payouts, the factors that affect players most in practice.
What fails a casino
Missing licences, unjustified payout refusals, misleading terms or a lack of responsible-gambling tools zero out the review, no matter how good the other points are.
Continuous review
Operators change. We review scores periodically and after any relevant change in bonuses, terms or performance, so the ranking keeps reflecting reality.
